L'Anglore is the domaine of Eric Pfifferling, one of the Rhône Valley's most celebrated and idiosyncratic natural wine producers, based in the village of Tavel near Avignon. Working from old-vine Grenache, Cinsault, Carignan, and Clairette on ancient sand, galets roulés, and limestone terroirs, Eric produces a small range of low-intervention, artisan wines, from his benchmark Tavel rosé to skin-contact whites and profound reds, that capture the wild, sun-drenched spirit of the southern Rhône unlike anything else.
