About the Producer
Benoît Lalanne is a small-producer vigneron working with Chenin Blanc in the Anjou, farming one of the Loire's most prestigious terroirs: the Montbenault vineyard, whose limestone and schist soils produce wines of extraordinary mineral depth and complexity. His cuvées, including the benchmark Les Noëls de Montbenault and the more delicate Quarts des Noëls, are pure, low-intervention expressions of Anjou Chenin at its finest: textured, mineral, structured for long aging, and alive with the saline energy that defines this appellation. Produced in very small quantities with natural winemaking methods, Lalanne's bottles sit alongside the Loire's most sought-after addresses and represent some of the finest terroir-driven Chenin Blanc available today.
