About the Producer
Damien Guadagnolo is one of the Jura's most compelling new voices, a former European professional boxing champion who spent seven formative years farming and making wine alongside the legendary Jean-François Ganevat before launching his own estate in Orbagna in 2019. Working 2.8 hectares of biodynamically certified vines planted to Trousseau, Poulsard, Chardonnay, and Savagnin on the limestone and marl soils of the Sud-Revermont, Damien produces zero-additive wines of extraordinary energy and precision. His whole-cluster fermentations and instinctive, minimalist approach in the cellar produce small-batch wines that are clean, crystalline, and unmistakably of the Jura. A rising star whose limited releases are already eagerly awaited by natural wine collectors.
