2022 Robin Carette, Ernestine, Vin de France

Robin Carette is a young and passionate winemaker who has settled in Thouarcé, in the heart of the Layon Valley in the Loire. After studying at the prestigious Lycée Agricole Pisani in Montreuil-Bellay and gaining hands-on experience at Domaine Mosse, he established his own domaine in 2021. Spanning 4.7 hectares in Anjou, his vineyard is fully certified organic, reflecting his deep respect for nature and commitment to sustainable viticulture.

Robin's meticulous approach in the vineyards ensures that each cuvée is an authentic expression of its terroir. His wines, particularly his Chenin Blancs, stand out for their purity, freshness, and vibrant tension. Despite being a relatively new name in the wine world, his first vintages have already generated excitement, and his future looks incredibly promising.
