About the Producer
Château Beychevelle is one of Saint-Julien's most recognisable estates, a 4th Grand Cru Classé whose elegant riverside château has graced the banks of the Gironde since the 17th century. The estate produces classically structured Cabernet Sauvignon-led Bordeaux from nearly 90 hectares of prized terroir, combining the power of Pauillac's neighbour with the finesse and silkiness that defines Saint-Julien at its best. Under the direction of the CASTEL group and winemaker Romain Ducolomb, the estate has invested heavily in the cellar to produce wines of greater precision and purity. Beychevelle's wines, especially from great vintages, are benchmarks of Médoc elegance: deep, fragrant, and built for the long cellar.
