Romain Le Bars is one of the rising stars of natural winemaking in the Rhône Valley. After spending nearly a decade working alongside Eric Pfifferling at Domaine L’Anglore, Romain established his own domaine in 2018 in Tavel, where he cultivates a mix of Rhône varietals with a focus on organic and biodynamic principles. His wines are known for their purity, freshness, and vibrant energy, capturing the essence of their terroir with minimal intervention.
With a commitment to sustainable vineyard practices, Romain farms by hand, ferments with native yeasts, and avoids fining, filtration, and added sulfites whenever possible. His wines, often classified as Vin de France, reflect his passion for lively, expressive cuvées that showcase both finesse and drinkability.
