About the Producer
Domaine Bruno Clair is one of Burgundy's most respected and quietly consistent estates, based in Marsannay at the northern gateway to the Côte de Nuits. Founded by Bruno Clair, who brought together parcels once belonging to his grandfather Joseph Clair-Daü, the domaine farms over 23 hectares across a remarkable range of appellations, from Marsannay through to Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru. All viticulture is managed sustainably without herbicides, with minimal intervention in the cellar and a commitment to expressing each terroir faithfully through indigenous yeasts and natural vinification. Domaine Bruno Clair represents some of Burgundy's most honest and terroir-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with particular strengths in Gevrey-Chambertin and Savigny-lès-Beaune.
