About Domaine de la Cras and Marc Soyard
Marc Soyard trained for six years at Domaine Bizot in Vosne-Romanée under Jean-Yves Bizot, where he learned the rigorous, hands-off philosophy that defines the natural side of Burgundy. Since 2014 he has been the sole vigneron of Domaine de la Cras, the city of Dijon's monopole estate, where he farms 8 hectares of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay organically with biodynamic practices. He is the only producer in the world permitted to label wines under the historic Coteaux de Dijon designation, an appellation once considered the equal of Gevrey and Chambolle.
