About the Producer
Sottimano is a passionate family estate in Neviglie, producing some of the Barbaresco appellation's most expressive and site-specific Nebbiolo from four celebrated single-vineyard crus: Cottà, Currà, Pajoré, and Fausoni. Andrea Sottimano, working alongside his father Rino, has built a devoted following over decades with an approach that combines modern precision with deep respect for the individuality of each terroir, long macerations, traditional large casks, and a commitment to estate-bottled production from organically farmed vines. The domaine's wines are known for their stunning aromatic complexity, transparency of fruit, and the pure, fine-grained tannins that make great Barbaresco such a counterpoint to its more muscular Barolo neighbour.
